Jonas Lossl

A clean sheet, 2 bonus points, and 4 saves! What an amazing start to the season for Jonas Lossl. The Huddersfield goalkeeper is priced at just £4.5 and owned by a mere 1.9% of managers. Huddersfield’s next 4 games are against Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham and then Leicester, all with an FDR of 2.

Ahmed Hegazi

Not only did Hegazi score the only goal in the game, he also made 12 CBI’s, the most in that game. West Brom takes on Burnley next, a game that has an FDR of 3, before playing Stoke, Brighton and West Ham, all with an FDR of 2. What makes Hegazi so tempting is his price. Now priced at £4.6, he is currently the second most transferred in player.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

After a rather dull first half, the Armenian ended the game with 2 assists and 2 bonus points. Mkhitaryan also created 2 big chances, made 6 key passes and provided 1 cross in open-play. That performance has resulted in him being transferred in by over 90,000 managers. Man Utd plays Swansea, Leicester, and Stoke in their next 3 fixtures and Mkhitaryan certainly has the ability to score big again.

Christian Eriksen

Alli might have scored the goal, but Eriksen was by far the more creative midfielder. Apart from assisting both goals, Eriksen made 3 key passes, created 1 big chance and provided a cross from open play. Combining all this he scored a total of 36 on the BPS which resulted in 3 Bonus Points. Eriksen and co. face Chelsea next, playing in their home ground for this season, Wembley.

Mohamed Salah

Priced at £9.1 and currently sitting in nearly 27% of squads, the midfielder scored 1 and assisted 1 to help Liverpool earn a point at Watford. Liverpool host Crystal Palace next, and will be looking to get their first win of the season. Salah is expected to play an important role especially since Palace conceded 3 goals in their last game against Huddersfield.

Granit Xhaka

Presently, the most transferred in player for gameweek 2, Granit Xhaka was instrumental in Arsenal’s win over Leicester. The midfielder set up 2 goals and made 5 key passes during the game. Furthermore, what makes Xhaka so appealing is the fact that he is priced at just £5.6, a total bargain. Arsenal travel to Stoke in gameweek 2.

Steve Mounie

Another player from Huddersfield, Mounie, scored a brace against Crystal Palace, last gameweek and picked up all 3 bonus points to take his gameweek score to 12 points. Mounie is owned by 2.6% of managers and is priced at just £6.0. Taking Huddersfield’s fixtures into account, he is now a very good option as a third striker.

Roberto Firmino

Roberto Firmino scored 1, assisted 1, made 2 key passes and created 1 big chance for Liverpool in the last game. Playing as a forward this season and aided by Liverpool’s speedy attack, Firmino certainly has the ability to score goals. Currently sitting in 23.5% of squads, Firmino is set to play against Crystal Palace this coming gameweek.

Romelu Lukaku

The most owned player currently, Romelu Lukaku is in fine form. Finding the net on two occasions, Lukaku helped Man Utd to a 4-0 win over West Ham. Man Utd has a relatively easy start to the season and face their first big challenge in gameweek 8, where they play Liverpool. Their next game is away, against the Swans and Lukaku will certainly be looking to add to his fine start.

Jamie Vardy

Unlucky to be on the losing side in the last game, Jamie Vardy and Leicester City will be looking to bounce back to winning ways. They host the newly promoted Brighton who is also coming off a loss. Like Firmino, Vardy isn’t a very expensive forward and is priced at just £8.6. He is currently the most transferred in forward and the third overall, with nearly 130,000 managers bringing him in.
