4 Options For GW11 Captain

We are in yet another tricky situation to choose the best FPL GW11 captain, and in this article, we will provide you with 4 different choices. Interestingly, this week’s choices consist of 3 midfielders and just 1 forward.

Harry Kane

Spurs host Crystal Palace, and if you own Harry Kane, it would be silly not to put the captain’s armband on him. Even after missing the last fixture, Kane still tops the charts in terms of total shots, shots on target and shots inside the box. Palace have conceded 10 goals in their last 3 away games and if Spurs were to repeat their midweek form against Real Madrid, it would be hard to keep them out. 2 goals in his last home fixture should be enough to silence any doubters regarding Kane’s inability to find the back of the net at home. Also, considering the fact that he played the entire 90 minutes in the CL should brush aside any fear of being rested due to injury.

Mohamed Salah

Liverpool visit West Ham, a side that has been struggling, especially defensively. Salah has contributed nearly 50% of Liverpool’s 17 goals scored thus far and therefore is considered a solid choice as GW11 captain. He has, by far, been Liverpool’s most central attacking figure and currently tops the charts for the most number of shots inside the box by a midfielder. He has also continued his run of fine form by scoring in the Champions League, midweek.

Dele Alli

A bit of a difficult decision, including Alli in this list, as the midfielder has flattered to deceive quite often this season. However, his form of late has been quite promising. Scoring once, Alli picked up 2 bonus points in the game against Liverpool and got into a few good positions against United, probably having the most clear-cut scoring chance that game. And the fact that he scored twice against Real Madrid midweek adds to that. Giving him the armband is indeed a risky decision, however, it can pay off handsomely.

Leroy Sane

Sane has been on fire for City, and it is no surprise that he currently is the top FPL point getter. 6 goals and 5 assists, with a goal and assist coming in each of his last 3 games. He has scored double figures in 4 of his last 5 games and therefore cannot be ignored. City host Arsenal in an encounter that promises to be exciting. Arsenal have been defensively poor away from home, conceding 9 in their 5 away games, while City boast amazing attacking stats, scoring 21 goals in their 5 home games. The only caveat here: Beware of Pep!
