Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)- 7%

In third position, is Roberto Firmino with 7% of the votes. With 2 goals, 2 assists, and 6 bonus points in the first 3 games, Firmino heads the points table with 26 points. It is therefore easily understood why he has picked up 7% of the votes. With Jurgen Klopp confirming that Philippe Coutinho will not feature in this weeks squad, Firmino is expected to pull the strings once again. Liverpool travel to Manchester, where they take on City who will be without their captain, Vincent Kompany.

Fpl Stats

Differential Captain- Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal)

According to our captain selection for gw4 poll, the differential captain is Arsenal’s frontman, Alexandre Lacazette. Lacazette was dropped to the bench the last gameweek when Arsenal took on Liverpool, however, he is expected to return to the starting 11 to face Bournemouth. Arsenal have played just 1 home game, in whch Lacazette scored his only goal. What makes Lacazette our choice as a differential captain is that Bournemouth have already conceded 5 goals in their 3 matches and Lacazette is certainly capable of taking advantage of a leaky defense.

Harry Kane (Spurs)- 17%

In second position, which already seems to be a trend this season is Harry Kane. Kane has put his woes of not scoring through August behind him and is now officially off the mark for the season, scoring for England in their WC Qualifier against Malta. Past records show that Kane has been red hot for the Spurs in September and the 17% of managers that have voted for him will be counting on that. Kane and co. have a relatively difficult fixture, away to Everton.

Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United)- 37%

The fact that Romelu Lukaku has struggled previously against Stoke City doesn’t seem to faze the 37% of managers that have voted for him. Lukaku has managed just 3 goals against Stoke City in his past 10 games against them, United too have struggled against Stoke in the recent past, drawing both their last 2 games. However, Stoke will be without Captain Ryan Shawcross and United have been in fine goalscoring form, scoring 10 in their first 3 league games. Lukaku scored the winner for Belgium, against Greece in the recent World Cup Qualifier and will look to put last gameweek’s missed penalty behind him.
